Waste Information

Normal-sized small boats are accepted at all Sortti stations when the boat is brought whole on a trailer or disassembled into smaller parts and transported by trailer or van.

Larger boats must be delivered to the Ämmässuo eco-industrial center as truck transport.

Fiberglass boats are sorted at the Sortti station into the container for combustible mixed waste. Wooden boats are sorted into the container for coated wood.

The waste fee is determined based on the type of waste and its volume. For whole boats, the price is calculated based on the external dimensions. For boats dismantled into parts, the price is based on the total volume of the parts.
