Reusable aquariums should be primarily sold or donated; an aquarium that has become unsuitable for aquarium use might still be usable as a terrarium, a miniature greenhouse, etc.

As waste, an aquarium is non-combustible waste.

• Large intact aquariums should be delivered to a Sortti Station (waste subject to a charge)
• Smaller aquariums or pieces of them can be sorted into property mixed waste containers. Pack glass objects carefully.
