Water can be used as usual in properties in the area of Korso, Kulomäki, Vierumäki, Vallinoja of the city of Vantaa and Tuusula Kela

The health authority has discontinued its recommendation to boil water. All water samples are clean, and water can again be used normally.

If tap water is murky, has strange colouring or smells odd, let the water run until it is clear again. If you let the water run for some ten minutes and no improvement is seen in the water quality, please contact the maintenance company or property manager or HSY’s Technical emergency duty for Water Services 09 1561 3000 or the Environment Centre of Vantaa: ymparistoterveys@vantaa.fi. 

If you suspect that you are suffering from stomach ache due to drinking water, contact your health station to assess the need for treatment. If the symptoms are mild or have already cleared, send email to your city’s nurse responsible for infectious diseases.
