During the Midsummer week, we will empty waste containers earlier than usual, and the Sortti Stations will be closed between 20 and 22 June.

During the Midsummer week, we usually empty waste containers one day earlier than usual. Emptying will start already on Sunday, 15 June. Emptying will not be carried out on Midsummer’s Eve, 20 June.

With the advancement of waste transports, we strive to ensure that all waste container emptyings scheduled for the Midsummer week can be completed despite the public holiday.

Sortti Stations will close for Midsummer

All Sortti Stations will be closed during the Midsummer weekend, 20–22 June. On Thursday 19 June, the stations are normally open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., but the Koivukylä Sortti Mini Station will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the Ämmässuo Sortti Station has been closed due to renovations.

Our customer service will also be closed during Midsummer.

The Ämmässuo Sortti Station will be under renovation, starting 2 June

We will be renovating the Ämmässuo Sortti Station, starting 2 June. The Sortti Station will be closed during the renovation, but you can still bring garden waste, brushwood, stone material and asbestos to the reception yard during the renovation. Our goal is to open the renovated station in August.

The other Sortti Stations will serve as usual during Ämmässuo's renovation. You can find the opening hours of all Sortti Stations on our website.
