Water can be used as usual in eastern Espoo, Kauniainen and Linnainen, Vantaa
The health authority has discontinued its recommendation to boil water. All water samples are clean, and water can again be used normally.
The disruption affected the following areas:

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers.
If the supply water outage lasts longer than 12 hours, the customer will be reimbursed in accordance with the Water Management Act and HSY’s general terms of delivery of water services. A serious quality defect in supply water, due to which the health protection authority has issued a boil water advisory, is considered equal to an outage.
An outage longer than 12 hours and a comparable quality defect will be taken into account in the property’s water bill at a later stage, so there is no need to submit a separate application to HSY.
If the deviation of the water quality has caused personal injuries or material damages, compensation must be separately applied for in writing. The application for compensation should be sent to the address: HSY:n kirjaamo, PL 100, 00066 HSY or send an email to the address: kirjaamo(at)hsy.fi.
