We are constructing the water supply in Central Park, Helsinki, in the Nuijamiestentie and Metsäläntie area.
On 12 June 2026, the Executive Board of HSY elected VM Suomalainen Oy as the contractor for the project.
The work will begin in August 2026 with tree felling. We will fell trees to clear the work area. The contract is estimated to last until December 2027.
The contract will affect movement in Central Park. Light traffic routes will be transferred from the work area to new temporary routes. HSY and the contractor will provide information about exceptional traffic arrangements closer to the start of the work.
