News from the Construction Site

15.8.2024: The soil and rock drilling for the planned water supply tunnel is underway in Esplanadi Park. The timing of the investigations is not ideal, as many events take place in the park during the summer and the area is generally busy. However, the work has progressed well so far, and those using the area have been understanding. The investigations could not be postponed because the planning needs to proceed according to the agreed schedule. The aim is to carry out the actual construction work in the park during the winter of 2026–27, when the area is less used.
