We are introducing a new customer service system. We are also giving up our customer service e-mail and will start using more secure services. Now you can contact us either by using the electronic form or by calling us.

In addition to the change of our telephone service, our electronic contact forms will also be renewed. The first step of the contact form is to choose a topic, based on which the system will forward your question or feedback directly to the relevant unit without any intermediate steps. This will speed up the process. The forms are initially only available in Finnish, but the Swedish and English forms will be added to the service after the initial testing.

We strive to serve our customers well from the start, but the introduction of the new system will probably cause delays in the beginning. We hope you will be patient if it takes longer than usual for us to respond to your contact request. We will respond to you as soon as possible.

In the near future, we will also introduce Suomi.fi e-Identification

From now on, we will ask you to identify yourself with the identification service when contacting us regarding personal, contractual or billing information. More information about strong identification Home - Suomi.fi.

For other general questions, you can still contact us without identification.

To act on behalf of an organisation or a person, an official authorisation is required

Persons in charge of water and waste management in housing companies, companies and organisations, such as property managers, must be granted the necessary authorisation. Mandate may be granted by a person authorised to sign on behalf of the organisation. The representative can also give authorisations to use the services on behalf of another for other persons. E-authorisations and mandates are granted in the Suomi.fi service.

If the authorisations have already been taken care of in the past, for example in waste management services, these same authorisations are also sufficient for processing information about the water contract.

Persons who have the right to act on behalf of another (e.g. the owner of the property management agency or the chairman of a housing association), registered in the Finnish Trade Register, the Business Information System or the Finnish Register of Associations, may act on behalf an organisation. The e-Authorisations service checks in real time whether the authorisations to use online services are valid.

Private customers can also take care of the property’s waste management service on behalf of another person when the mandate has been granted in the Suomi.fi service.

Mandates used in HSY’s online services

  • Maintenance of service information related to property management

With this mandate, the assignee may change the details of the property’s management and maintenance services on behalf of the assignor in accordance with service-specific restrictions. When you give administration rights, remember also to give viewing rights so that the person in question can handle the matters they have authorisation for.

  • Conclusion of property management contracts and service orders

With this mandate, the assignee may conclude contracts and service orders related to the property’s management, waste management, water supply and maintenance services and energy, as well as amend and terminate existing contracts, on behalf of the assignor.

  • Viewing property management information

With this mandate, the assignee may view information related to the property’s management and maintenance services (e.g. energy, water and waste details), including costs, on behalf of the assignor.
