Several unnecessary meter reading request letters sent to customers

Due to a technical failure in our system approximately 400 of our customers have been sent several meter reading request letters. Some of them may have received a meter reading request up to seven times. The requests were sent on 28-30 July and 3-5 August.

We will correct the technical error in order to avoid a similar situation in the future. The next time we send a meter reading request will be in a year.

Water meter reading does not need to be reported to us more than once. The easiest way to report a reading is to fill in the form at https://lukemat.hsy.fi/vesimittari/. (finnish and swedish)

• Mon, Wed and Fri 8.30 am–3.30 pm
• Tue 8.30–11.00 am
• Thu 1.00 pm–3.30 pm.

The annual water consumption estimate is calculated on the basis of the water meter readings reported to HSY and the previous water consumption.
