Unused ampoules and ampoules still containing liquid are returned to the pharmacy if the substance is pharmaceutical. Moisturising eye drops, which are CE-labelled products, can be sorted into mixed waste. Empty eye drop ampoules are sorted into plastic packaging waste collection.
