Large objects include, for example, divan beds, large carpets, sofas, stoves and freezers.

Please do not leave large objects at the waste collection point on property without permission from your property manager.

The Sortti collection vehicles tour during 2.4.–4.6.2024

The Sortti collection vehicles will stop at 291 different locations around the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Kirkkonummi. The vehicles accept three different types of domestic waste from residents free of charge:

hazardous waste
electric and electronic devices
scrap metal.

Objects in good condition

Objects in good condition can be offered to acquaintances or sold on online trading platforms. You can also donate them to reuse centres or charity shops; remember to inquire about pick-up options.

Objects in poor condition

Deliver to a Sortti Station on your own.
Rent a trailer from a Sortti Station for transport.
Order Sortti pick-up service for transport, liable for a charge.

Reception at Sortti Stations is subject to a charge.

Bed bugs?

We do not receive, transport or handle any personal property containing bed bugs. The Sortti pick-up service also does not accept objects contaminated with bed bugs for transport.
