Sortti collection tour for hazardous waste

Lorry stopped on the street. The tailboard of the lorry is down and there are boxes on it as well as a person wearing high-visibility clothing.

We organize a collection tour for hazardous waste in September–October 2024. We are piloting a service whereupon a collection vehicle makes tours in areas where there are currently no permanent collection points for hazardous waste. The service pilot is meant for residents. We will publish the schedules during August.

The Sortti collection vehicles tour during 2.4.–4.6.2024

The Sortti collection vehicles will stop at 291 different locations around the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Kirkkonummi. The vehicles accept three different types of domestic waste from residents free of charge:

  • hazardous waste
  • electric and electronic devices
  • scrap metal.
