We measure the air quality at the Luukki Golf Course. The results describe the air quality far away from the emission sources, in so-called background areas.
At this monitoring station we measure, among others, the concentrations of nitrogen dioxide, particles of different sizes, sulphur dioxide, ozone and black carbon.
The results are presented through an air quality index that correlates the concentrations to their health effects. The index varies from good to very poor. When the air quality is poor (red colour), people sensitive to air pollutants may show some symptoms. The graph shows the air quality indices from the last 12 hours (unverified hourly values).
