Change of waste collection service

Make changes to your current waste collection service » (only in Finnish and Swedish)​

By signing into the service, you may examine the current information of your property’s waste management service and make changes concerning, for example, waste containers, collection frequencies, invoicing address and contact persons. You will need the property’s waste management service’s code (in the format BBXX-xxxxx-x) and a postal code for signing in to the service. When you send the first change request, the service will request your personal identity code / Business ID, if you have not given it previously.​

It is not yet possible to make all the changes and orders concerning the waste management services online. Please contact our customer service in such matters. We will continue to develop our online services.

Terminating a waste transport agreement

If you want to terminate your agreement, you can do it by sending an email to the address jate.kuljetus(at) Include the following information in your message:

  • waste management services’ code
  • address of the property
  • termination date of the agreement
  • your contact information.

Making a new waste transport agreement

​You can make a new waste transport agreement online or by contacting our customer service, tel. +358(0)9 1561 2110 on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

​Order transport of sludge from septic tank

Make an order online, at > Make changes to waste collection service or  by e-mailing us at jate.kuljetuspalaute(at) or by calling HSY Customer service, tel. +358 (0)9 1561 2110 (weekdays from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.).

For urgent emptying of septic tanks, call +358 50 307 6041. The number is operational outside office hours.

We will take over emptying septic tanks and transporting cesspool sludge. The change will take place gradually, between 1 April 2016 and 30 April 2017.
