Therefore, the most productive way of learning comprises both aspects. A great deal can be achieved if teachers would just simply touch upon environmental topics in every applicable context. The students must be provided with relevant information on the different ways of reduction at source. It is the most crucial element of the material-efficient way of thinking and sustainable development which should be part of all kinds of teaching according to the integration principle.

Smart Teaching Materials

This site provides various kinds of inspirational teaching materials which focus on the reduction of waste generation. The site It’s smart with less waste contains the following sections: Pre-school, At school and Learning a profession. The exercises and background materials are meant for pre-primary education, comprehensive school teaching and for studies at the upper secondary level and in vocational educational institutes. Additionally, a printed edition of the Smart’s Activity book is now available.
