HSY's Waste Management Services

HSY's waste management organises the collections and transportation of unsorted waste, biowaste and energy fractions for residential properties and public services throughout the metropolitan area (Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen, Vantaa) and Kirkkonummi. The Waste Management of Properties pages provide practical help and tips on organising the waste management of different types of properties.

HSY receives wastes in different parts of the metropolitan area and Kirkkonummi at various staffed waste reception stations, which are called Sortti stations, in addition to unstaffed collection points. HSY's collection vehicles, which tour around during the springtime, also accept waste material.

The Waste Reception pages will provide you with information in regard to the addresses and which kind of wastes are received at each respective reception stations.
